Tourism to Apostle Islands NL creates over 35 million dollars in economic benefits

A new National Park Service (NPS) report shows that 183,797 visitors to Apostle Islands National Lakeshore in 2016 spent $29,270,000 in communities near the park. That spending supported 456 jobs in the local area and had a cumulative benefit to the local economy of $35,700,000.
