Temporary road closures and campfire restrictions due to increased fire danger in Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park

Mauna Loa Road past Kīpukapuaulu and Hilina Pali Road past the Maunaiki Trailhead will temporarily close Wednesday, July 30 to vehicles due elevated fire danger resulting from persistently dry weather. Pedestrians and non-motorized bicycles are allowed on both roads.
