Day of Remembrance Honors USS Arizona Crew

The National Park Service at Pearl Harbor National Memorial in cooperation with the United States Navy, and Pacific Historic Parks will host a Day of Remembrance in honor of the entire crew of the USS Arizona on the day of interment of the final crew member that survived the December 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. Mr. Louis A. (Lou) Conter, passed away on April 1, 2024 and will be laid to rest on the morning of April 23, 2024 near his hometown in Grass Valley, California.
