Dead crow discovered on Fire Island tests positive for West Nile Virus

Patchogue, NY – Fire Island National Seashore (Seashore) biologists discovered a dead crow in Blue Point Beach, Fire Island on August 31st. They were conducting routine monitoring in the maritime forest in Blue Point Beach when they came across the dead crow.
