Cane River Creole Memorial Illumination Honors Enslaved People

Cane River Creole National Historical Park will host two separate memorial illumination events to remember and honor the people who were enslaved on Oakland Plantation and Magnolia Plantation on February 20 and February 27 as part of Black History Month. The Oakland illumination will take place on Saturday, February 20, and the Magnolia illumination will take place on Saturday, February 27.
