Project 1966: Hike Every Trail in Indiana Dunes National Park

July 31, 2023 · Source: National Park Service

INDIANA DUNES NATIONAL PARK: Join a ranger as they hike all the trails in Indiana Dunes National Park. The challenge is taking place over the course of the summer with each week featuring a new trail. There will be a total of 19 hikes covering 66 miles to honor the year the park was established. Can’t make them all or want to do a self-guided hike? Ask for information about the hikes at the park’s Visitor Center, the Paul H. Douglas Center, or look on our website for a link to Project 1966. The hike will take place every Saturday in August starting at 8:00 am. There is a different meeting location each week.
