Tourism to Chattahoochee River NRA contributes over $161 million to local economy

A new National Park Service report shows that 3,183,081 visitors to Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area in 2023 spent $161,166,000 in communities near the park. That spending supported 2,149 jobs in the local area and had a cumulative benefit to the local economy of $236,780,000.
