More Than 450 Acres of Piles Successfully Burned in Valles Caldera

With winter concluding, the National Park Service has completed its prescribed pile burning in Valles Caldera National Preserve for the season. These burns are part of a prescribed burn project to reduce material left from previous forest thinning work.
