Fairleigh Dickinson University professor Dr. Luz Huertas will discuss her translation of and meaning of a Libro de Cofradias from the Order of Santa Ana in Mexico City on April 27, 1557, one of the earliest monastic establishments of Mexico. The Book of Orders, which will be on display, contains the original Articles of the Constitution of this Order. This manuscript is from the park's collection.

Morristown National Historical Park will formally kick off its 90th anniversary year on March 4, 2023 at 1:00pm. As the nation's first national historical park, Morristown occupies a unique position within the 420+ strong national park system. The park will celebrate the signing of the legislation creating the park by President Herbert Hoover in the museum auditorium.
Funded by the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA), an $80,000 trail bridge reconstruction project in Morristown National Historical Park was recently completed through a partnership with Stephen T. Mather Building Arts & Craftsmanship High School.
The Jockey Hollow Road project expands to include the replacement and repaving of the vehicle access road to the Cross Estate. The road will be closed to vehicle access starting May 31 through mid-July.
The Jockey Hollow pavement rehabilitation project will see the milling of old road surfaces and asphalt replacement on the Jockey Hollow Entrance Road in Phase 1, and Sugarloaf and Cemetery Roads in Phase II. The project beings April 11 and extends through late August. Expect weekday road closures and detours during this time.

Beginning Friday, July 2, 2021, Morristown National Historical Park (NHP) will reopen with limited occupancy levels and one-way visitor traffic flow its Jockey Hollow Visitor Center, Ford Mansion, and Washington's Headquarters Museum.
Beginning on or about June 14, 2021 the Fort Nonsense area of Morristown NHP will be closed to the public due to a roadway and parking area pavement rehabilitation project. The project is expected to last three months through to approximately mid-September. The closure will be for both vehicles and pedestrians.
