Four southern Idaho national parks welcomed a combined total of more than 430,000 recreation visits in 2025, including a record number of recreation visits to the Minidoka National Historic Site.
The National Park Service, in collaboration with the National Park Foundation and Friends of Minidoka, held a special event on Sept. 26 to celebrate upcoming restoration and construction projects at three national parks in southern Idaho
On Friday, May 26, the visitor center of Minidoka National Historic Site will be open for summer hours: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. MT.
