At 2100 North, Exit 282, closures begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, with northbound I-15 expected to reach one lane by midnight and fully reopen by 4 a.m. the following mornings. All lanes are scheduled to stay open Friday for BYU homecoming traffic. Saturday's closure runs from 7 p.m. until a 7 a.m. Sunday reopening, and Sunday's work is scheduled from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday.
The overnight work will move northbound traffic toward the median. UDOT expects that shifted pattern to remain through May 2027 while crews relocate utilities, build a stabilizing soil wall and begin foundations for a new interchange. The overall 2100 North project is scheduled for completion in late 2028 and is intended to connect Mountain View Corridor with I-15.
The notice also lists a separate westbound SR-201 ramp closure in Tooele: 10 p.m. October 7 to 5 a.m. October 8, then again from 10 p.m. October 8 through 5 a.m. October 12, with traffic directed to SR-202 for I-80 access. UDOT says construction schedules can change with weather, so drivers should check its live traffic service before traveling.
