Nashville suppliers face new sign-in requirements on November 21

Staff Writer · October 21, 2026 · Nashville

Nashville’s Finance Department says iSupplier will introduce multi-factor authentication on November 21, 2026, with verification through an authenticator app or email. Suppliers are being asked to check their profile and email information before the change.

Nashville suppliers using iSupplier will encounter new account-verification requirements beginning November 21, 2026, the Metro Finance Department announced October 19. The change will also bring a revised interface and appearance to the system.

The department lists two ways to complete the extra verification: an authenticator app and email. It asks users to make sure the details in their supplier profile, particularly the email address, are current before the new requirements take effect.

For help changing a profile, the announcement directs suppliers to its designated email contact with a description of the help needed and a current W-9 form. The official release provides that contact and a separate address for questions; use those published details when requesting assistance.

The department says more instructions will follow. Its notice does not yet provide the step-by-step enrollment process, identify a required authenticator app or give a cutoff hour for the November 21 change.
