Sioux Falls schedules community listening sessions for the mayoral transition

Staff Writer · 2026-10-02 · Sioux Falls

Sioux Falls announced three public listening sessions on October 21, November 5 and November 12, followed by a November 18 town hall, to gather resident input for recommendations to the incoming mayoral administration.

The three Sioux Falls Listens sessions are scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Levitt at the Falls. The concluding town hall is scheduled for November 18 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Cherapa Place.

Residents may participate at the meetings or submit feedback online. The city says the collected input will inform transition recommendations; the sessions are not a vote and do not by themselves adopt policy.

The announcement does not promise that every suggestion will be implemented. Participants should consult the city’s official page for any venue or schedule updates before attending.
