Portland completes Rosa Parks–Greeley intersection rebuild

Staff Writer · 2026-10-03 · Portland

Portland completed striping and optimized signal timing at the rebuilt intersection of North Rosa Parks Way and North Greeley Avenue on October 1, 2026; remaining landscaping and minor corrective work is not expected to affect traffic.

The Portland Bureau of Transportation says contractors completed the crossing and signal project and finished the planned intersection striping earlier in the week. PBOT adjusted signal timing on October 1 and says travelers should notice improved traffic flow.

Crews will return periodically to plant trees and shrubs and to make minor adjustments or corrections. The city says those remaining tasks should not create traffic impacts.

The completion notice does not announce a new closure, detour or resident application process. Travelers can use the city's linked project page for any later operational updates.
