Portland seeks comments on a Harvard Street replat, not an approved build

Staff Writer · 2026-10-14 · Portland

Portland Permitting & Development issued an October 14, 2026 notice for a proposed replat at 5204 N Harvard Street, Units A and B. It asks for written comments on case LU 26-046916 RP by November 13 at 5 p.m.

The proposal would reorganize three existing historic lots into two parcels. The larger parcel would retain the house and basement accessory dwelling unit; the second would face Harvard Street. Aker Development is the applicant. This land-use review has not announced approval of the proposal or a new construction permit.

Email comments to assigned planner Clare Fuchs at Clare.Fuchs@portlandoregon.gov and include LU 26-046916 RP. Anyone without email access should telephone the planner at 503-865-6423 about another submission method. Correspondence becomes part of the public record.

The city will consider comments before approving, conditionally approving or denying the application. Its notice warns that issues must be raised in writing, with enough detail for the city to respond, to preserve the ability to raise them in a later LUBA appeal.

The linked four-page notice contains the project description, zoning map and site plan. It gives a 5 p.m. receipt time but does not explicitly label the timezone; no more precise deadline-tracker timestamp has been inferred.
