Oregon airport grant round is open through October 30

Staff Writer · 2026-10-14

The Oregon Department of Aviation opened COAR Cycle 11 applications on October 12, 2026, with an October 30 closing date. The program supports public-use airports and may provide up to $150,000 for an eligible project.

The current program page identifies three routes: assistance with FAA grant matching, emergency-readiness or infrastructure work under the state’s resilience or aviation plans, and aviation-related economic development. Listed examples include utilities, navigation and weather equipment, hangars, parking and rural commercial service.

Airport sponsors and their project teams can request IGX application-system access from Grants@odav.oregon.gov. The state’s page links the grant portal and application materials; this is an application round, not an announcement that a particular airport has won funding.

The linked applicant guide is stored under Cycle 10 and describes different receipt hours for electronic and paper applications. The current Cycle 11 announcement does not state a closing hour or timezone. Confirm the applicable cutoff and current project terms with program coordinators rather than treating an older guide as a new-cycle deadline.
