Schools no longer submit several listed reports, including EMIS reporting for students with diabetes, student performance on physical-education benchmarks and an annual consolidated compliance report. The underlying statutory duties covered by the consolidated report still apply even though that certification is eliminated.
District treasurers no longer report interim-fund investments to the state Auditor and education department, but they still must report that information to their local board. Disadvantaged Pupil Impact Aid spending moves into EMIS financial data instead of a separate reporting system.
Districts may use online publication for specified policies, including student conduct, electronic devices, extracurricular restrictions and bus-riding suspensions. Administrators should update workflows and public webpages, but families may still need to consult the district's adopted policies because the law changes posting and reporting processes, not every underlying obligation.
