The affected locations are on US 165, LA 28 and MacArthur Drive, including intersections at Ball Cutoff Road, Castor Plunge, Vandenburg, Lee Street, Horseshoe Drive, South MacArthur Service Road, Ridge Road, Shandhai and Beeson, and Cloverleaf Boulevard.
DOTD says one lane in each direction will remain open and that no detours or lane-width reductions are anticipated. The work is weather dependent and the October 9 completion target may change.
Drivers should slow down, follow work-zone controls and watch for crews and equipment. DOTD lists the work under project H.012641, a flashing-yellow-arrow upgrade project.
