Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(6) nonprofits. Individuals must be at least 14, have a fiscal sponsor, and live, work or attend school in Marin. This finances community projects, not unrestricted household assistance.
Applicants may develop an existing submitted idea or propose a different equity-focused project. Priority goes to communities scoring below 85 on the Healthy Places Index or experiencing persistent disparities. The county links application forms and coaching requests from its announcement.
Public voting is planned for March–April 2027. Funding decisions are expected in May–June, with implementation starting in July; applying does not guarantee an award. The release omits a deadline timezone, and the linked program pages did not expose readable guidelines during review.
