Arizona crash dashboards let residents compare local road-safety data

Staff Writer · 2026-10-14

The Arizona Department of Transportation announced interactive crash-data dashboards on October 7, 2026. Users can filter annual police-reported records by severity and local area, examine selected crash factors and review a separate 20-year trend display.

Residents and local officials can start at ADOT’s Crash Facts page to explore the new displays. The page links annual crash statistics and a historical dashboard; its latest annual entry is 2025. The figures describe annual police-reported crashes, not a live feed of incidents.

Choose a dashboard page for the subject of interest, including safety devices, impairment or crash descriptions. Filters let users select fatal, injury or non-injury crashes and narrow the records to a county, city or tribal agency. Selecting part of a chart applies another filter, changing the related tables and visual displays.

This provides a way to examine local patterns within the state’s compiled reports. ADOT also offers a separate view of trends across 20 years. The announcement introduces a data-access tool, not a new benefit application or a deadline for residents.
