Charlotte weather updates: All Saturday on-track activity canceled

What this means

NASCAR canceled all October 10 on-track activity at Charlotte Motor Speedway because of weather associated with Hurricane Isaias. The O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Blue Cross NC 300 was moved from Saturday afternoon to 8 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, after the Cup Series race. Cup practice and qualifying were also canceled, requiring the starting lineup to be set under the NASCAR Rule Book for the fourth time in six Chase events. The Bank of America 400 remained scheduled for 3 p.m. Eastern on October 11.
