Allgaier looks to regain Chase footing in Charlotte's 300-miler
What this means
NASCAR previewed the October 10 Blue Cross NC 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway as an opportunity for Justin Allgaier to reverse four difficult O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Chase races. Allgaier entered fourth, 30 points behind leader Sheldon Creed with five races remaining, and was the only driver in the field with a previous victory on Charlotte’s oval. Carson Kvapil trailed Creed by 19 points, defending champion Jesse Love by 21, and sixth-place Sam Mayer by 52. The race was scheduled for 4 p.m. ET on The CW, ESPN Unlimited, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
