Kaden Honeycutt entered the race with a 37-point advantage over Layne Riggs after winning at Kansas, where Riggs hit the wall late while running second and finished 19th. Riggs said he needed to balance racing for victories with the longer championship contest. Chandler Smith and Gio Ruggiero followed in third and fourth, 71 and 72 points behind Honeycutt, respectively. The race was scheduled for 5 p.m. ET on FOX, NASCAR Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
