Two Minor League Players Suspended

What this means

Major League Baseball suspended two Minor League players for 56 games each after positive tests for the performance-enhancing substance Stanozolol. Free-agent pitcher Raudi Perez's suspension will begin if he signs with a Major League organization, while Washington Nationals Minor League catcher Francisco Rivero's suspension will begin with the 2027 Florida Complex League season. MLB said the violations fell under the players' applicable Minor League drug prevention and treatment programs.
