What this means

New York State Police reported that Christopher P. Quinn, 49, of Schenectady was arrested on September 24, 2026, after a Saratoga County resident alleged paying him $30,000 in January for a pool installation that was not completed and for which the money was not returned. Quinn was charged with third-degree grand larceny and first-degree scheme to defraud and was remanded after arraignment in Clifton Park Town Court; the update follows an April arrest stemming from a separate allegation that he accepted more than $11,000 for fence work under a false name, and all allegations remain subject to court proceedings.
