The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) just announced a new round of funding that will allow Washington to bring broadband to locations that were not part of Washington State Broadband Office’s (WSBO) original Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program award.

WSBO staff are currently reviewing the details of this new federal guidance to understand its implications for Washington. WSBO will provide updates as it assesses the requirements of this funding round and develops a work plan. We look forward to partnering with service providers across the state to ensure we can deploy these dollars quickly.
