Netflix outlines fall family premieres and a Sesame Street film in development
The streamer lists November and December series debuts while leaving the proposed film’s shooting and release dates undisclosed.
The announcement
Netflix’s September 24 family-programming announcement says a Sesame Street film is in development with Rideback and Sesame Workshop. It also says its series agreement with Sesame Workshop extends through Season 62.
The announced calendar includes Mecha Builders on October 26, Doozie’s Doghouse on November 9 and Sesame Street Season 57 Volume 4 on November 23. Gabby’s Dollhouse: Makers and Bakers is scheduled to debut December 9 with four holiday episodes.
What this means
Families can distinguish the dated viewing calendar from the film project still in development. Netflix gives no filming window or release date for that movie.
