Check outdoor swings for the PACEARTH name
PACEARTH Direct recalled about 110,550 U-type swing seats on October 8, 2026. The Consumer Product Safety Commission says a seat, carabiner, quick link or webbing strap can break during use, creating a serious fall hazard.
The recall covers PACEARTH seats sold in colors including green, blue, pink, red and turquoise. They have yellow plastic-coated chains and were packaged either individually or as a two-pack. The products were sold on Amazon from May 2017 through June 2026 for $27 to $57.
Stop use and document the seat
Stop using an affected seat immediately. For a full refund, CPSC directs owners to contact Pacearth Direct at recall@pacearth.com, write “RECALLED” on the seat with permanent marker and email a photograph that shows both the marking and the PACEARTH logo.
The company has received at least 30 reports of falls. CPSC says at least nine injuries were reported, including fractures, head injuries and bruising. The federal notice identifies the recall as number 27-019.
