The replacement window covers current recipients in 14 counties
Florida households that currently receive SNAP and lost food because of Hurricane Isaias can request replacement benefits through Monday, October 19, 2026. The Florida Department of Children and Families lists Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Leon, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Walton and Washington counties as eligible for the request process.
An approved replacement may be as much as the household's previously approved monthly SNAP amount. The state describes that figure as a maximum, not a guaranteed payment, and says households must already be receiving SNAP.
Use MyACCESS and follow the county documentation rule
Sign in to the MyACCESS portal and use the green dashboard banner to submit an Individual Replacement Request. Households in Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Holmes, Jackson, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Walton and Washington counties do not have to provide documentation of the food loss.
Households in Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Jefferson and Leon counties must upload documentation through MyACCESS showing a power outage lasting at least four hours. Because the deadline is close and the state says it is still evaluating additional SNAP options, affected households should submit the request promptly and monitor the official Hurricane Isaias page for changes.
