Debris can ignite near the engine

DR Power Equipment recalled about 42,860 trimmer mowers in the United States and 340 in Canada on October 8, 2026. CPSC says grass and debris can collect near the engine and ignite. The company received 19 fire reports and two reports of minor blister injuries.

The recall covers model numbers T4X1076DMN, T4X1076DMNR, T4X1076DMNSD, T4X1176DMN, T4X1176DMN-1, T4X1176DMNR, TR43076DMN and TR43076DMNR, across all serial numbers. They were sold nationwide from November 2022 through July 2026 for $380 to $550.

Stop use and arrange the free repair

Owners should stop using a recalled mower and contact DR Power for a free repair kit. Dealer installation is available for owners who do not want to install the kit themselves.

DR Power can be reached at 800-854-3194 or recall@drpower.com. The official notice, recall 27-016, includes model photographs and label locations.
