Owners of GTF7530 ovens should stop cooking with them and request a free doorstop repair.
CPSC announced November 5 that Gourmia is recalling about 175,951 GTF7530 air fryer ovens after receiving 57 reports of doors closing unexpectedly, including 40 burn incidents involving hands or wrists.
The stainless-steel ovens have two glass French doors. Check the rear label for model GTF7530 and codes 3021 through 0126; packaging also carries UPC 810002862779. Target sold them nationwide and online between October 2021 and June 2026 for about $150.
Owners should stop using affected ovens and request Gourmia’s free mailed repair kit, which adds a doorstop and includes installation directions. The recall lists 888-834-0092, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and gourmia.com/recall.asp for assistance.
What it means
A doorstop repair is available for the recalled GTF7530 ovens. Check the model and label codes before contacting the company; this notice does not identify every Gourmia oven as affected.
The recall offers a repair rather than a refund. CPSC’s detailed notice sets no claim deadline. Its instructions are to stop use immediately while arranging the remedy.
