Other Desert Cities lists October opening and January closing
The Broadway League's current calendar places the Hudson Theatre revival in previews, with an October 18 opening.
The verified calendar
The Broadway League lists September 29, 2026, as the first preview for Other Desert Cities at the Hudson Theatre, followed by an October 18 opening and a January 17, 2027, closing. The listing was checked October 14; it does not provide a publication or update timestamp.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Ed Harris, Allison Janney, Joe Keery and Lily Rabe star in Jon Robin Baitz's play. John Benjamin Hickey directs the revival, which follows a family confronting a daughter's planned memoir.
What this means
The listed run is already in its preview period. Preview, opening and closing dates are different milestones, and no rehearsal window is disclosed. The League's weekly public schedule currently shows no October 18 performance despite listing that opening date; readers should confirm attendance details with the production's official ticket source rather than infer an opening-night ticket opportunity.
