Wildlife Project Will Temporarily Close Sections of the Park

During the first two weeks of October, biologists will be conducting helicopter surveys for bighorn sheep and aoudad in Big Bend National Park. The Deadhorse Mountains and surrounding areas, including the Dagger Flat Road and Old Ore Road will be temporarily closed starting October 3.
